Registered Social Worker | Accepting new virtual clients in Manitoba | Sliding Scale Available

You're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what’s next. Or maybe you're here because others in your life didn’t work through their shit. I get it.

If you’ve ever felt like people struggle to keep up with your stories or see the bigger picture, you’ve come to the right place. I love helping people connect the dots, make sense of their experiences, and move forward with clarity.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel formal or intimidating. Expect a space where no problem is too small, dark humor is welcome, cheesy jokes may appear and where your experiences are taken seriously.

Some of the areas I support include:

  • Self-esteem and confidence building

  • ADHD

  • Family-of-origin patterns and childhood influences

  • Identity exploration and life transitions

  • Anxiety

  • Workplace stress

Feel free to get in touch by emailing me at Stefanie@figtreewellness.ca or text/ call 204-399-3097 for a free 10-minute consultation.

Psychotherapy and Trauma Counselling

Canadian Certified Counsellor | Please Contact to be added to my waitlist

You’re looking for a counsellor who does evidence-based therapy, slathered in a healthy dose of dark humour. I get along famously with people who thought they’d hate therapy. The world is a dumpster fire, so it makes sense you feel like garbage. You’re paying attention. I’m not going to gaslight you into thinking everything is fine when it isn’t. I want to help you reach your goals in the context of the real world, so you can live to your fullest potential. I’ll walk with you into the dark, and dance with you in your happiest moments. I’ll pump you up, and I’ll also call you on your shit. Let’s get you healed.

I’m person-centred and trauma-informed. You’re steering the ship so what we do in counselling is up to you. I have a lot of tools in my toolbox that we can try if you’d like. I draw from EMDR, brainspotting, narrative, mindfulness, feminist, CBT, and polyvagal approaches. I’m skilled at working with anxiety, depression, career, relationships, identity, neurodivergence, and trauma.

I’m neurodivergent and queer. I have a dark sense of humour and I will get your tiktok references because I am chronically online too. Feel free to tell me how you feel using memes or song lyrics. I genuinely want to see pictures of your dog (or cat? or lizard?) or the cute person you’re talking to and I will never be bored of you quoting directly from your text conversations.

Send me a line (rebecca@figtreewellness.ca) to be added to my waitlist.
